The Sennheiser HD 25 Plus model comes with a straight cable and a coiled cable. The coiled cable is nice to have as a backup, but I wanted these headphones for the straight cable. The coiled cable comes on out-of-box. Here’s a video I made on how to switch it.
What you’ll need:
- Straight Cable
- Plastic Clamps
- Size T6 Torx Screwdriver
The reason I made this tutorial was because I didn’t have a torx screwdriver at home. When I went a local hardware store to buy one the associate told me that I’d have to contact the manufacture of the headphones to get one, which I knew couldn’t be right.
Anyway, I would have just bought a T6 torx screwdriver on Amazon with the headphones to have when I got them in the mail.
I hope this helps someone buying these headphones for the first time.
